Dear Franklin Family,

As many of you know, Governor Herbert announced that school will be dismissed for the rest of the year.  While this is frustrating for everyone, we understand the importance of keeping everyone safe during this pandemic.  We are encouraging our parents and students to continue to work hard with their distance learning through their Chromebooks and packets for the rest of the school year.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sending out more information regarding possible additional instructional materials for students and how students will be able to pick up their belongings from the school.  We will also be adjusting our administrative office hours to meet these needs.

Please remember how much we care about our Franklin Family and much we miss our students.  Teachers will be taking turns helping with lunch throughout the rest of the year so please make sure that you stop by and say hi to them when you pick up lunch.  Let us know if you need anything.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, el gobernador Herbert anunció que la escuela se cerrará por el resto del año. Si bien esto es frustrante para todos, entendemos la importancia de mantener a todos seguros durante esta pandemia. Estamos alentando a nuestros padres y estudiantes a continuar trabajando duro con su aprendizaje a distancia a través de sus Chromebooks y paquetes durante el resto del año escolar.

Durante las próximas semanas, enviaremos más información sobre posibles materiales de instrucción adicionales para los estudiantes y cómo los estudiantes podrán recoger sus pertenencias de la escuela. También ajustaremos nuestras horas de oficina administrativa para satisfacer estas necesidades.

Recuerde cuánto nos importa nuestra familia Franklin y cuánto extrañamos a nuestros estudiantes. Los maestros se turnarán para ayudar con el almuerzo durante el resto del año, así que asegúrese de pasar y saludarlos cuando recoja el almuerzo. Dejanos saber si necesitas algo.
