Dear Franklin Family,

We can’t believe that the end of the school year has arrived.  While we know that it has been challenging, we are grateful for your patience and hard work over the past few months.  Thank you for all that you have done for your students.

In order to finish up the year and prepare for the summer, we will be collecting student homework packets, library books, instruments (6th grade students only), Chromebooks, and other school materials you may have beginning on Monday, May 18.  During this time, we will also be passing out student belongings and advancement certificates.

In order to do this in a safe and orderly manner, we have divided up the drop off/pick up alphabetically by last name.  We have also scheduled the early evening of Tuesday, May 19 for all parents who work during the day.  As you look at the times below, please do your best to come at your assigned time but if you cannot drop off/pick up during your designated time, please contact the front office.

Date: Monday May 18- Last name A-G Times: 8:30-10:30 and 12:30-3:00

Date: Tuesday, May 19- Last name H-O Times- 12:30-3:00 and 3:30-6:00

Date: Wednesday, May 20- Last names P-Z Times: 8:30-10:30 and 12:30-3:00

Date: Thursday, May 21 Times- 9:00-2:00 By appointment only

Drop Off and Pick Up will take place on the west side of Franklin, along 700 West, starting at the southwest corner of the grounds and moving north.  For everyone’s safety, we are asking that you use your cars to drop off and pick up.  This will allow us to practice social distancing guidelines in a more effective manner.  If you don’t have access to a car, please come to the southwest corner of the school during your designated time.

As you drop off and pick up, please be patient.  We will do our best to keep everything moving but we understand that this may also take some time.  If you have any questions about drop off/pick up, please contact the front office.  Thanks.

No podemos creer que haya llegado el final del año escolar. Si bien sabemos que ha sido un desafío, estamos agradecidos por su paciencia y arduo trabajo en los últimos meses. Gracias por todo lo que has hecho por tus alumnos.

Para terminar el año y prepararnos para el verano, estaremos recolectando paquetes de tareas para los estudiantes, libros de la biblioteca, instrumentos (solo para estudiantes de 6to grado), Chromebooks y otros materiales escolares que pueda tener a partir del lunes 18 de mayo. Con el tiempo, también entregaremos las pertenencias de los estudiantes y los certificados de avance.

Para hacer esto de una manera segura y ordenada, hemos dividido alfabéticamente la devolución / recogida por apellido. También hemos programado la tarde del martes 19 de mayo para todos los padres que trabajan durante el día. Al mirar los horarios a continuación, haga lo posible por llegar a la hora asignada, pero si no puede dejar / recoger durante la hora designada, comuníquese con la oficina principal.

Dejar y recoger se llevará a cabo en el lado oeste de Franklin, a lo largo de 700 West, comenzando en la esquina suroeste de los terrenos y hacia el norte. Para la seguridad de todos, le pedimos que use sus automóviles para dejar y recoger. Esto nos permitirá practicar pautas de distanciamiento social de una manera más efectiva. Si no tiene acceso a un automóvil, venga a la esquina suroeste de la escuela durante el tiempo designado.
