Hello Falcons! As we approach the beginning of the school year we want to share a few Back to School tips with you that can help with the transition from summer time to school time. We will be posting one a day until the first day of school.
Tip #7 – Talk About First-Week Jitters
Talk with your child and let them know that feeling anxious or nervous about a new school year is natural. Let them express their fears or concerns to you. Teach them to breathe slowly and deeply to calm their nerves. Discuss the scenarios they are worried about with them and help talk them through what they can do if those situations arise.
