Provo City School District

Franklin Elementary School

Continuing on with Franklin’s end-of-year festivities, our school threw an assembly that celebrated the students and classes who made the biggest impact in hitting the million minutes read goal. Their final amount? 1,000,750 minutes read throughout the school!

The school’s top readers were given Amazon Kindle’s for their achievement, and a party will be thrown for the class who collectively read the most.

In addition to giveaways for the student’s reading achievements, a special gift from the Busload of Books family was announced: a Build-a-Bear Reading Friend for each student in the school. After the assembly, some of the schools’s admin worked together to distribute the bears throughout the school.
