Teacher Needs Survey

Postponing the survey until next year.  Send out the survey at the beginning of the year.

Safe Routes to School

Progress Report and Submission to UDOT – Robin talked to Vern at the city about the intersection at 700 W. and 300 S..  we are on the agenda for the March Neighborhood meeting.  We have to be approved at that meeting to begin a traffic study.  We could possibly share training information with students in a beginning of year assembly.

Bussing routes

Robin discussed the bus routes with Troy (contact his boss?)and possibly getting bussing for the students who have to cross the railroad tracks.  He said it could be discussed in March.

Could we make the road where 400 South meets the playground a no parking area?  People cannot see the students as they start to cross.

Trust Lands Funds Distribution Discussion

Discuss upcoming changes to Franklin based on CSI designation.  How can we use Trust Lands funds to assist most effectively to assist with academic goals for Franklin next year?

Move forward with this discussion in the March meeting, after the School Improvement Plan is closer to being completed.

PTA has a Pay PAL giving fund now, after much work by Alex.  He will reach out to Charity Williams at the District about writing grants to be used in schools.

Next Meeting:  March 12 with a follow up on the 26 if necessary.
