Hello Falcons!  Franklin’s 2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration will take place from April 14 through April 18, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.  Registrations will be by appointment only.   You can schedule your appointment by calling our Registrar, Jazmin Gonzalez, at 801-374-4925.

Please follow the directions below to be prepared for your registration appointment.

New Student to the Provo School District:

• Go to the PowerSchool
  • PowerSchool
• Click on “New Student Registration” and fill out the one page document.
• The registrar will contact you by email to inform you how to complete the registration.
• Please call the registrar to schedule an appointment.

Students who attended a Provo School District Preschool other than Franklin:

• Please call the registrar to schedule an appointment.

Franklin Preschoolers returning for Kindergarten:

• Please call the office to schedule an appointment to complete just one form.
• New immunizations: Please bring the new record to the office before school starts in August. Moving during the summer: Please bring a new proof of address for our records.
• To apply for Free or Reduced lunch:  Apply online starting mid-July on their
  • Free or Reduced Lunch Site
• Starting August 1, 2025, the District is requesting all parents to update their demographic information on their Parent Portal Account for all their students by going to  grades.provo.edu. Please contact the registrar if you don’t remember your UserName and Password.

Documents to bring to your appointment (for new students):

• Parent’s ID
• Child Birth Certificate (original)
• Child Immunization Record
• Proof of Address (city bill, power bill, lease, or mortgage statement)

If you live with another family and can’t provide proof of address in the parent’s name, go to Student Services at the District (280 W 940 N, Provo) with the person you are living with. This person will need to take a proof of address with her/him.
