Franklin Positive Behavior Bootcamp: Hallways
As Principal Benson mentioned in his weekly email, last week we held a Positive Behavior Bootcamp where we taught the behavior expectations for students at Franklin. These are the expectations that we will hold students to throughout the year. Our expectations for all students are that they will Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible while at school. In our bootcamp we taught and practiced what it would look like and sound like to be safe, respectful, and responsible in different areas of the school like the cafeteria, the hallways, on the playground, the restrooms, and in the classroom.
Our recent Instagram Reel states the behavioral expectations for our students while they are in the hallways, showing what we expect students to do to be safe, respectful, and responsible in our school’s hallways.
To be safe we walk on the right side of the hallway at all times and keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves. To be respectful we walk silently and respect artwork and objects on the walls. To be responsible we go directly where we are supposed to go and watch where we are going.
